Risk assessment

Risk assessment entails restoration measures to avert damage or at least limit the extent of the damage of the artworks. When assessing the risks, aspects such as good storage practices, storage conditions, building stability, management practices and documentation procedures are all examined. Risk mitigation, emergency response and disaster recovery strategies are also provided following the risk assessment, in addition to provisions for regular checks at fixed intervals. This regularly updated and documented information can be used in case of an emergency or at the time of recovery from a calamity.
