Ms Priya Kapoor is Founder Director of International Heritage Conservation. She persued her PhD in “Storage design and preservation of organic artifacts in tropical climate” at National Museum Institute, M.A in Conservation & Restoration of works of Art from National Museum Institute of History of Art, Museology and Conservation, New Delhi, and B.F.A in Sculpture (Gold Medalist) from Government College of Art, Chandigarh,
She has been trained at Victoria & Albert Museum, London and TATE Britain, London to work on organic objects of art. Also trained on mounting and framing of art works at TATE Britain, London under the aegis of Charles Wallace India Trust Conservation Award. In order to bring new technology to India interns of scientific research on art she has done
training program on Scientific Methods for Art Examination including Technical photography , Infrared Reflectography , Multispectral Imaging, Microscopy, Radiography, RTI, Reflectance Spectroscopy, XRF Spectroscopy, Raman Spectroscopy, FTIR Spectroscopy from “Cultural Heritage Science Open Source”, Viagrande, Italy. She is receiptient of Nehru Trust UK Visiting Award, for course in 15-18th century Coptic Book and Bookbinding conservation at “Pothi Seva”, UK. “Conservation Development Grant, by ICON , UK” to study Bookbinding Conservation in UK and received “Baba Shyam Singh Sevapanthi Scholarship”, to study Bookbinding at “Bath University”, UK
She is also trained in “Advance Photographic Conservation Course “FRPI 2019” in association with Film Heritage Foundation, Mumbai and The International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF)
Other achievements include Three weeks training (Summer School) on objects conservation, restoration of oil and panel paintings and textile conservation from “University of Applied Arts”, Vienna(Austria) funded by ministry of culture, National Museum Institute, Delhi and University of Applied Arts, Vienna.
She is recepitant of Small study and research grant by Nehru Trust for Indian Collections 2007-8 for “Documentation graph at different stages of Ajanta Cave paintings over 160 years and measuring extent of damage happened during this period”
“Young Achievers Award” by Rotary Club, Amritsar (Punjab) for contribution towards saving cultural heritage and contributions in the field of fine art, 2005
She has worked as Senior Technical Coordinator for restoration of Oil Paintings in Ashoka Hall, Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi. Dismantling of the 24 panels from 60 feet high walls, followed by restoration.
International Heritage Conservation has been associated with Alsabah Collection, Royal Family of Kuwait, Kuwait. French Musuems , Louvre - Abu Dhabhi, San Diego Museum, USA for restoration and consultancy projects

Her organization” International Heritage Conservation” is actively involved with restoration of Paintings, Textiles and Organic objects for Austrian Embassy, American Embassy,
Auction houses, private clients, prominent galleries, collectors and dealers.
Back in 2004-06 she was Conservation Consultant for setting up Museum of Indian Textiles in the premises of Sanskriti Kendra instituted by Sanskriti Foundation, New Delhi. Organizing workshop on preventive and curative conservation in association with Sanskriti Pratisthan and National Museum Institute, New Delhi, has also been part of her work profile.
She has done many national and international projects and actively associated with National Gallery of Modern art for restoration of Nandlal Bose Collection for a traveling exhibition “Rhythms of India-Nandlal Bose” to San Diego Museum, US, National Archives as a visiting faculty, UNESCO conservation projects etc.
She is also a Visiting faculty (Paper Conservation), National Museum Conservation Laboratory for 3 month training course, National Museum, Janpath, Delhi, National Museum Institute, National Archives, Delhi, Institute of Indology, Ahmadabad and published an Article on “Bamiyan-a Study on Technical Aspects of Materials” for the journal of Himalayan Research and Cultural Foundation, August 2003.
